प्रतीप अलंकार की परिभाषा prateep alankar kise kahate hain –

परिभाषा – प्रतीप का अर्थ है – “उल्टा” या विपरीत | जहाँ बड़े को छोटा और छोटे को बड़ा बताया जाता है, अर्थात जब उपमेय को उपमान और उपमान को उपमेय बना दिया जाता है, तब वहाँ Prateep Alankar होता है।

यह उपमा अलंकार का उल्टा होता है क्योंकि इस अलंकार में उपमान को लज्जित, पराजित या नीचा दिखाया जाता है और उपमेय को श्रेष्ट बताया जाता है।
